Elizabeth Chambers, the former wife of actor Armie Hammer, was recently shaken up when an attempted burglary occurred in her Los Angeles area home. Reports say that Chambers was out of the house during the break-in attempt but had noticed the unusual activity after looking at the home security camera. Chambers alerted police in no time.
When police arrived, the suspect had already left the property. The officer noted that there were no signs of forced entry, and there were no injuries.
The police investigation continues. According to police reports, the officer mentioned that they were reviewing the video from the surveillance system in hopes of identifying the suspect.
Chambers has not made a comment about her attempted break-in. There's no details yet on whether the attempted burglary was random or targeted, but there's certainly again public concern for safety.
There is no indication at this time that the attempted burglary may be connected to Armie Hammer, but based on their public history, it renewed interest for both of them recently.

Armie Hammer Begins New Chapter with Upcoming Film
As the news of the burglary began to emerge, Armie Hammer was making news for a whole different reason. The actor had taken a hiatus from Hollywood after a series of troubling circumstances over the last few years, but he is back at work, playing the lead role in a new action thriller called Citizen Vigilante, directed by Uwe Boll and filmed in Croatia.
The 36-year-old Hammer’s role marks the first significant acting role he has had in some time. While the film has not yet officially released its complete plot and release date, sources indicate Hammer stars prominently in the plot. There was also some speculation the film may release in late 2023, as typically most films shoot their promotional trailers at about the same time as them filming the movie, and then cut it as the whole film drew nearer to the end of post-production.
While Hammer has not made any official public pronouncements regarding his return publically, Hammer’s involvement with the film - as it appears to be a project still in contention for release - indicates he may be making a small step back into acting after a fair bit of circumstance pushed him into a hiatus from acting.
Whether Hammer confirms or disavows further projects in the near future remains to be seen, but his reluctance to jump back into the acting pool is a measured step to return to the previously visible public eye that Hammer's notoriety brought him in the past.
The film is likely to attract attention not only based on its content and likely criminal activity therein, but also based on what it means to Hammer's work cultures bounce back from the absence of them in unprecedented circumstances. The return of Hammer should be interesting for the industry, and for him personally as we all navigate our own public ups and downs.
