BLACKPINK has officially unveiled a brand new song and is heading on a world tour. The K-pop group based out of South Korea released their latest song, named "Jump," at the opening show of their Deadline World Tour on July 5, 2025. The concert took place at the Goyang Sports Complex in South Korea and marked the groups first group performance in almost three years.
The new single is also the first time all four members of BLACKPINK - Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa - have participated in music together since they released Born Pink in October 2022. While the group had released the OST song "The Girls" in 2023, "Jump" is their first major group comeback since then.
"Jump" features an upbeat and infectious fusion of dance-pop and guitar-driven sounds. Both the song's production and the group are recognizable, with Teddy, Diplo and 24's collaborations originating from the creator's past. The lyrics of "Jump" contain themes of movement, freedom, and being united in euphoria, which captures the excitement of their tour.
Fans (BLINKs) didn’t hold back in celebrating the new song’s moment of inception. Videos of the live performance and social media comments flooded the airwaves documenting fan engagement. The reception was generally affirmation of the group's reclamation of their previous bolder performance, and the stagemanship when they perform together.
"Jump" and 22 songs made up the concert setlist at the Goyang, South Korea concert. Aside from "Jump," many of the anticipated songs such as "Kill This Love," "How You Like That," and ''Pink Venom'' were performed. Attendees captured their thoughts, and comments reflected a sense of confidence and energized spirit; finally performing as a collective again.
Although there is no full music video for Jump, a short teaser was posted online. It’s a 30-second clip directed by Grammy winning filmmaker Dave Meyers, who has collaborated with big names in the global music industry. In the teaser there are bold visuals, slick choreography and so far, a look at their signature style.
BLACKPINK returns after quite some time of solo projects. Over the past few years, each member has explored individual work in music, fashion, and acting. However, with Jump - they are back on stage together and kicking off a world tour that will take them to some of the biggest cities worldwide.
The Deadline World Tour will travel to North America, Europe, and Asia. Upcoming shows are in Los Angeles, New York, and London, with tickets already being offered for a starting price around $75. If early estimates are to be believed, demand for the upcoming tour is high, with many venues already approaching sell-out capacity.
This is an important moment for BLACKPINK, partly because this represents a comeback after years of solo success for its members. BLACKPINK's new song, "Jump," signals the beginning of a new chapter with the group as a whole. NEW MUSIC! GLOBAL TOUR! STRONG FAN SUPPORT! BLACKPINK seems set to continue its status as one of the world's biggest pop groups!
