Candlelight Concert Series Celebrates Adele with Classical Twist
An exclusive concert series pays homage to Adele's music in a different way. The Candlelight: Tribute to Adele presentations feature live string quartet performances playing the instrumental versions of her most popular songs, all performed in venues lit with candlelight.
The concert series is presented by Fever and has gained some notoriety due to the calming atmosphere in which you can participate in the concert and the unique presentation of the concert itself. There are no vocals or backing tracks played, these concerts simply emphasize the music in classical renditions of Adele's hits such as "Hello", "Someone Like You", "Set Fire to the Rain", and "Rolling in the Deep."
All the performances are roughly 1 hour long, and are performed in small venues such as historic buildings, churches, or community theatres. Because the performers play Adele’s music in a thoughtful and personal way in a different way and setting than a normal concert, this allows her fans to listen to her music in a space and atmosphere that serves reflection and consideration.
The performances are candle-lit, and this performance setting creates an emotional and beautiful performance. Audience members like to tell me that this format really has an emotional way of thinking about and remembering Adele’s work. There isn't singing or lyrics so listening and enjoying the music, melody and arrangement is the focus and perspective that I hope people gain that they often did not initially.
Houston! Experience Adele's greatest hits by the soft glow of candlelight. Tickets starting at $25!

Global Tour Dates and What Audiences Can Expect
The Candlelight: Tribute to Adele series is actively touring in the U.S., U.K., Canada, Australia and several countries in Europe. Multiple dates are scheduled through 2025 and into early 2026.
Scheduled dates include:
- July 25 in Brighton, UK
- August 15 in New York City
- August 23 in San Diego
- Other cities include Chicago, Boston, Miami, Houston, Nashville and London later this year
Each city is chosen based on its acoustics, environment and environment. Places such as the Royal Pavilion in Brighton, Star Theatre in San Diego and the Church of the Heavenly Rest in New York City each provide the right environment and acoustics to provide a full experience from start to finish.
Tickets for most shows range from $30 to $70 depending on the city and seat selection. Ticket prices for the U.K. shows range from £18 to £28. All concerts are open to guests 8 years of age and older, guests under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
This is not a concert in the traditional sense of the word; there are no singers, or stage elements, this is a small group of musicians playing live. Their purpose is to give a soft, contemplative experience, a moment in time to relish Adele's emotional depth as expressed through her songs, without the full pop production.
While the tribute is not to Adele herself, it provides fans another method of engaging with her music (in particular, those liking classical arrangements or something a little more relaxed laid-back) and with good reception this tribute will continue to grow and reach new cities in the coming months.
Tips for First-Time Guests: Best Seats & Acoustic Spots Every seat is not created equal for sound quality and visual ambience. Here are a few things we learned from concertgoer's observations: Middle seats in the middle rows deliver the best acoustic optimization if you are attending a quartet performance. Aisle seats where clusters of candles are located are the best in terms of "Instagrammable" views from where to capture photos. Don't sit to close to the performers unless you know classical concerts well. It may be loud for some guests!
Local Musicians Take the Lead
Tribute to Adele performance features local professional musicians—not a touring orchestra. Fever (the company behind the series), contracts local strings quartets and classical musicians in connecting cities, allowing those audiences to hear amazing local musicians.
Often the musicians embellish the arrangements in their own unique way. By using Adele’s original sheet music as the score for strings, often those arrangements become personalized; therefore, no two shows are ever precisely alike. For example, the San Diego quartet is known for introducing short improvisational transitions between the songs, while the London ensemble has added subtle variability in tempo and dynamics, as would be typical in a London concert hall.
This local-first element helps keep the performances refreshed but it also helps deepen the connection to the local community where it is taking place—the one detail that seems to be overlooked.
A New Generation Embraces Adele’s Music Live
While Adele's core audience typically spans millennials and GenX, ticketing data indicates a rise in GenZ attendance in U.S. markets such as Chicago, Austin and New York.
This rise can be attributed to viral TikToks highlighting Candlelight concerts as visually pleasing and "vibe-worthy." It seems many young patrons are primarily drawn to the vibe of the concert first and then find their way to Adele's rich catalogue through the lens of classical instrumentation.
