Chelsea Handler to Headline ESL Rochester Fringe Festival 2025
Popular comedian and bestselling author Chelsea Handler is set to headline this year’s ESL Rochester Fringe Festival. She will perform a special live comedy show at Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre on Saturday, September 13, 2025.
The performance is expected to be one of the biggest events of the 12-day festival, which brings together a wide variety of performers from around the world.
Handler, known for her bold, honest humor and sharp storytelling, is bringing her unique voice to Rochester for the first time. With recent success from her Netflix special The Feeling and her latest book I’ll Have What She’s Having, Handler has been gaining more fans while also continuing her live tours across the U.S. and Europe.
The ESL Rochester Fringe Festival is one of the largest multi-arts festivals in New York State. Held annually in downtown Rochester, the event features hundreds of performances including music, dance, comedy, theatre, visual arts, and spoken word. Presale tickets for Chelsea Handler’s show will go live on Wednesday, June 18 at 10 AM with the code FRINGEFAN. General public sales start Friday, June 20 at 10 AM on the festival’s website rochesterfringe.com and at the Eastman Theatre box office.
