Ellie Goulding Makes Relationship With Actor Beau Minniear Public

Ellie Goulding has confirmed she is dating American actor Beau Minniear, after weeks of quiet speculation. The British pop singer teased a new romance earlier in the month via a TikTok post. In the video, Goulding was seen gently stroking the wrist of a man whose face was blurred. Fans quickly suspected it was a new someone, and figured out who it was by the watch he was wearing, because it was one he had worn before.

They were then seen together in Florence, Italy, over the weekend, making their first public appearance. They were posted together in photos walking down the street side by side, looking relaxed and comfortable. And as sources noted, they stayed at a luxury hotel in the city--hinting that the two were on a private getaway.

This is the first public relationship Goulding has had since separating from husband Caspar Jopling in 2024. The singer had become quite private about her life in many of the post-2024 interviews that she did. Because of that privacy, it is remarkable with this new announcement. Observers believe that both the timing of the announcement and the way in which they went about it was intentional, neither too flashy nor too secret.

The location of the announcement in Florence appears to hint at Goulding's increased interest in art, travel, and wellness—interestes she has talked about frequently in interviews and on social media. Minnnear, interestingly, works in film and theatre, has similar interests, which may explain why they are connected.
