Eric Stonestreet, best known for his role as Cam Tucker on the popular TV series Modern Family, has married his long-time partner, pediatric nurse Lindsay Schweitzer. They wed on September 8, 2025, in their newly constructed home in Kansas City, Missouri, which they had envisioned as their wedding site from the start of the construction.
In an emotional Instagram post on his birthday celebrating his 54th, he wrote, "It’s my birthday and guess what I got," and included wedding photos celebrating his new marriage.

How They Met and Their Journey Together

The couple began dating in Kansas City after their first meeting at the Big Slick charity event in 2016. Their common sense of humor and midwestern morals laid the groundwork for a strong relationship together. The couple was engaged in August 2021, which also included a special role for Lindsay's twin sons in the proposal.
Desiring to keep their lives private and away from the Hollywood spotlight, the couple chose to marry in their home that they designed and built to have a true personal and meaningful event.

Eric Stonestreet and Lindsay Schweitzer’s Wedding Ceremony

Eric Stonestreet & Lindsay Schweitzer wed in the comfort of their Kansas City home. The vibe was so familial, you might've expected an aunt to lug out the potato salad and deviled eggs. Surrounded only by their closest friends and family - the couple said "I do" in a day that was sentimental, warm, uncomplicated and most importantly - authentic to Eric and Lindsay. Eric looked great in a traditional navy suit and Lindsay glowed in her satin gown adorned with a crystal belt. One of the most endearing moments concluded their first dance together in the library of their home while soft acoustic music played on repeat. Eric, like a true comic would, lightened the mood by saying they bought the house with the sole purpose to host their wedding. Every touch point of the day, whether it was the warm atmosphere or the sentimental vows, was as genuine and authentic to Eric & Lindsay, as a couple.

How the Couple Made Their Wedding Unique

Eric and Lindsay did not have a traditional celebrity wedding. Instead of an elaborate wedding in a faraway destination, they opted for the comfort of their own home and neighborhood in Kansas City. Every little detail, from handwritten vows to a patchwork dance floor in the library, was unique to them. Instead of a fancy event, the couple wanted a purposeful day, which made the day even more special.
