Eric Stonestreet Marries Lindsay Schweitzer in Private Wedding

Eric Stonestreet, best known for his role as Cam Tucker on the popular TV series Modern Family, has married his long-time partner, pediatric nurse Lindsay Schweitzer. They wed on September 8, 2025, in their newly constructed home in Kansas City, Missouri, which they had envisioned as their wedding site from the start of the construction. 
In an emotional Instagram post on his birthday celebrating his 54th, he wrote, "It’s my birthday and guess what I got," and included wedding photos celebrating his new marriage. 

How They Met and Their Journey Together

The couple began dating in Kansas City after their first meeting at the Big Slick charity event in 2016. Their common sense of humor and midwestern morals laid the groundwork for a strong relationship together. The couple was engaged in August 2021, which also included a special role for Lindsay's twin sons in the proposal. 
Desiring to keep their lives private and away from the Hollywood spotlight, the couple chose to marry in their home that they designed and built to have a true personal and meaningful event.

Eric Stonestreet & Lindsay Schweitzer wed in the comfort of their Kansas City home. The vibe was so familial, you might've expected an aunt to lug out the potato salad and deviled eggs. Eric looked great in a traditional navy suit and Lindsay glowed in her satin gown adorned with a crystal belt. Eric, like a true comic would, lightened the mood by saying they bought the house with the sole purpose to host their wedding. Every touch point of the day, whether it was the warm atmosphere or the sentimental vows, was as genuine and authentic to Eric & Lindsay, as a couple.
