Hollywood Walk of Fame Reveals 2025 Star Honorees

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has shared the names of all the celebrities who will get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2025.

In the film category, notable stars such as Jane Fonda, Jessica Chastain, Colin Farrell, and director John Carpenter will be recognized for their contributions to cinema.

The music section features major names like Green Day, Depeche Mode, and country icon George Strait. One of the most notable additions is the late music legend Prince, who will receive a star posthumously. Although he declined the honor during his lifetime, his estate has now accepted the tribute.

The Television category will honor stars like Fran Drescher, Molly Shannon, and Lauren Graham, along with South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone. In the live performance and theater group, Alan Cumming and Misty Copeland are among those being recognized for their contributions.
In the sports entertainment category, former soccer star David Beckham and baseball legend Orel Hershiser will be recognized. The selected celebrities were chosen by a dedicated committee after reviewing hundreds of submissions.

Each star recipient has up to two years to schedule their ceremony, and the first events are expected to begin in 2025 on Hollywood Boulevard.

Bill Nye, known for making science fun and educational, and actor Courtney B. Vance also made the list, reflecting the broad range of talent honored this year.

Official star ceremony dates will be confirmed closer to the event, usually announced about 10 days before each installation. These public ceremonies often draw large crowds and are a key moment for fans to celebrate their favorite celebrities’ achievements.
