Jenna Ortega Plastic Surgery? Fans Say She Looks ‘Different’

The recently premiered “Wednesday” Season 2 had red carpet events associated with it, and Jenna Ortega, the lead actress, clearly made people talk because of how different she looked. Dubbed the “Wednesday Glow-Up,” Ortega’s red carpet transformation of slicked hair, bold makeup, and lip contouring had the internet wondering - “Is this real?”. 

Rather heatedly debated, Ortega’s makeover had everyone wondering whether she experienced more ‘Hollywood’ beauty treatments. Many suspected that she might have received some lip and brow fillers, while others suggested contouring makeup. Ortega’s makeup made it look like she had undergone more sculptuation shaped cheekbone and jawline, something many fans quickly dubbed “glow-up.” 

Fans and Experts Both See a Different Face

The internet however, seems to have divided opinions. While some users decided to support these claims, others reported that Ortega “doesn’t look like herself anymore”; which seems to be the more extreme rebuttal to the overall claim. Regardless of makeup, fans believe Ortega is unrecognizable due to her looking different. 

The harms of buccal fat is fired back by Ortega appearing different, where professionals and influencers have been quick to share their opinions. Ortega seems to have gotten targeted issue of fat reduction from the cheeks with jawline sculpting, which enables a more ‘Hollywood’ look, reported Professor Dr. Gizem Seymenoglu, who suspects the ‘hollow’ argument about Ortega’s rear cheek gap to contours have only been done surgically and for this reason.

Another physician, Dr. Nurettin, mentioned that her more defined jawline might be the outcome of dermal fillers. Both of them, however, noted that without a medical evaluation, they couldn’t confirm anything. Regardless of that, these sorts of evaluations only amplify the smoke into a blaze, which shifts the argument from a debate into a puzzling enigma.

Ortega has chosen to remain tight-lipped, which adds to the accumulated suspense. In Tinseltown, not saying anything can, at times, be more impactful than saying something.

The capture that accompanies the video has an equally strong text that can be read with varied interpretations. Public opinion appears divided. Scrutiny has seemingly spilled from traditional media to platforms such as Reddit, TikTok, and X (formerly Twitter), where users dissect and analyze from every angle, zooming in on cheekbones, chin and the dimension of jawlines in fierce debate about chin fillers, fat removal, or mere contouring tricks.  

At the same time, Jenna’s bleached eyebrows with slicked back hair could exaggerate the changes. Some users suggest that the angle paired with makeup and lighting simply went to town, while others stand behind the claim that this is a classic case of a not-so-obvious, yet anything but obvious Hollywood transformation - subtle yet strategic.

As of this moment, the crowd is speculating: Is this yet another case of the internet analyzing things too far? Or did one of the up-and-coming names in television make the decision to subtly change her appearance?
