Katy Perry is currently touring the world with her Lifetimes Tour in no small part through the end of 2025. An on-going tour starting this year, has entertained crowds globally and also sold out in a show in Adelaide, Australia. So far, her fans have been very supportive of her new music as well as the dramatics of the show portraying her most recent album themes as expressed in her album, 143.
143, Perry’s seventh studio album, was released in early September of 2024. The album tracks portray themes of love, reflection, and resilience. Perry’s album garnered reviews that ranged from long-time Perry critics that wrote disconnected reviews, or critics that provided Perry raves. Regardless of critics, Perry’s album seems to be resonate with many of her long-time fans. With Perry’s shows that for the most part indelibly carry what her shows have all evoked, brightly themed costumes, eccentric futuristic display visuals, and also positive responses to her ability to be regarded in the pop space.
Despite the public success, Perry is said to be experiencing increasing amounts of personal stress behind the public eye. Sources close to the singer say she is feeling pressure as she tries to hold the pieces of work life and family life together. Perry has been on tour with Daisy Dove, her young daughter, which has included some opportunity for family bonding, but it is unclear how much of a burden that actually adds to an already stressing situation.
While Perry has reportedly enjoyed her tour and music, that’s not to say that rumors of pressure in her relationship with longtime significant other Orlando Bloom can somehow be completely ignored. The pair has been together for a number of years, and they have a daughter together, but rumors are surfacing about tension between the couple as a result of Perry’s recent fondness for space, specifically after Perry recently participated in a Blue Origin spaceflight conducted by Jeff Bezos’s space company Blue Origin.
In April of 2025, Perry participated in a suborbital flight with an all-female crew for the mission, which was promoted as a celebration of women in science and leadership. Perry described the experience as meaningful, but the tabloids contend that Bloom was not "supportive" of Perry's flight at all, and allegedly labeled it "cringeworthy", which in turn went on to spark a disagreement with Perry.
The circumstances might have deteriorated at Bloom’s arranging to attend Bezos’s forthcoming wedding to Lauren Sánchez, in Italy – without Perry. Sources report that the couple may be open to separating, but are not anticipated to announce anything public until Perry wraps her tour later this year.
However, Perry has remained steadfast and have had been focused on the shows and has not made any comment on the relationship. Other than focusing on her tour and child, it looks as if Perry is doing her best to keep her focus on moving forward with the touring as she is still busy travelling and performing throughout the year.
