This case arises from the seizure of 126 kilograms of mephedrone at a farm in Sangli, Maharashtra, in March 2024 - the largest seizure in the state. The information about any charge against Orry is limited to the fact he was named during the questioning of several suspects, with links to the drug ring, which may or may not have included celebrities and mephedrone parties.

Orhan Awatramani, also known informally as Orry, is a well-known influencer and celebrity from Mumbai, India. Social Media Influencer Orry Summoned in ₹252 Crore Drug Case

The Anti-narcotics Cell of the Mumbai Police has officially summoned social media influencer Orhan Awatramani, commonly known as Orry, for interrogation relating to a ₹252 crore drug case. Orry is expected to visit the Anti-narcotics Cell's Ghatkopar branch at 10 AM on Thursday morning as part of an active investigation into a large drug syndicate related to mephedrone.

Orry’s Connection to the Drug Investigation

As per the questioning reports, the investigation is digging into networks that allegedly supplied drugs to various high-profile parties in India and abroad, including several personalities like Shraddha Kapoor, Nora Fatehi, and more. The inquiry documents include social media influencer and Bollywood player Orry, although the police have not provided his exact involvement.

Recent Controversies Surrounding Orry

In addition to the drug investigation, Orry is presently facing another legal issue. In early 2024, a video was leaked showing Orry and friends drinking alcohol in a hotel by the Vaishno Devi temple in Katra, Jammu and Kashmir, where alcohol is prohibited to be consumed. Police registered an FIR against the hotel and others under the excise act, including Orry.

Public Reactions and Current Status

Despite the summons and controversies, Orry was recently spotted attending the high-profile Travis Scott concert in Mumbai, appearing calm in public. The Anti-Narcotics Cell continues their investigations to definitively identify all links in the drug syndicate. Orry is expected to appear today as authorities look to clarify his involvement.
