During a recent London Film screening, Priyanka Chopra Jonas navigated a few wardrobe mishaps with ease. The actress attended the July 1 screening for her action-comedy Heads of State film in London, standing on the red carpet with husband Nick Jonas.
Chopra donned a black fringe dress from Burberry's Fall/Winter 2025 collection, she looked confident and like a fashion icon. Unfortunately for Chopra, shortly before arriving at the event she had lost a press-on nail and during the viewing her belt had come undone. Nevertheless, she was in good spirits and turned both wardrobe malfunctions into a joke and the audience laughed along with her.
After the screening, Chopra shared a video on Instagram where she made light of the scenario. In the video she said, "Of course my nail pops off, of course my belt . . . popped off, of course my plus one stole my look". The video showed her smiling and posing which made it clear that she didn't care about the fashion blips.
Fans appreciated her level of self-awareness and ability to laugh at herself, making her that much more relatable. The post gained viral traction, shining a spotlight on Chopra's base, real, and friendly persona while promoting a film at what would typically be a very uptight Hollywood event.
Nick Jonas was also in attendance at the screening, in matching Burberry attire. The couple's on-brand couple fashion received ample attention on the red carpet, with Chopra even joking in her Instagram video about how Jonas "stole her look," as his dark outfit contained similar colors and textures.
Earlier in the day the couple also posed together at a photocall for Heads of State - Chopra wore a black halter neck dress with beige floral embroidery, whereas Jonas chose a tailored black blazer with blue pin stripes. Their overall collective fashion looks mixed both elegant and modern, which made them one of the standout style couples of the event.
The London screening was a part of the promotional tour for the film, Heads of State, which launches on Prime Video on July 2. Chopra will be starring in this film, which is predicted to be a quick-paced action-comedy, and her presence helped generate buzz for the film.
Chopra is also known for her fashion choices on red carpets and other public appearances, but what was most interesting during this screening, was her relaxed response to a fashion moment, and now a mishap.
