How The Rajvir Jawanda Accident Happened

The unfortunate incident took place on September 27, 2025, near Baddi in Himachal Pradesh. Rajvir was on his Royal Enfield bike headed towards Shimla when two bulls suddenly entered the road.

In his attempt to avoid a collision with the bulls, he lost control and collided head-on to a Bolero car which was coming from behind. It was a violent crash. Rajvir sustained serious head, chest, and spinal injuries.

The local villagers immediately rushed towards Rajvir to help him and he was immediately taken to the nearby civil hospital where he reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest and was revived thereafter. Shortly thereafter, he was airlifted to Fortis Hospital, Mohali for further treatment.

Still on Ventilator Support

Rajvir Jawanda Health Update continues to be in serious condition at Fortis Hospital in Mohali, as of October 8, 2025. According to the official report from the hospital, he is still on life support and is still on a ventilator. 

Doctors treating him say he has minimal brain activity and spinal injuries have caused weakness in all four limbs. However, his pulse and oxygen levels are stable, which the doctors consider a small but positive sign.

Medical professionals have identified that Rajvir has experienced hypoxic brain injury, which means the brain did not receive sufficient oxygenation after the cardiac arrest. He has also sustained substantial trauma to the cervical and dorsal spine which will complicate the recovery process.

Multi-disciplinary medical teams comprised of neurosurgeons, orthopedic surgeons, and critical care specialists are closely watching this situation 24/7.
