What’s Next for the Series

The show is based on a trilogy, so season three was always intended to be the end. However, the success of The Summer I Turned Pretty left the door open for more. Jenny Han, the author, has said she is open to continuing the story if the right story comes along. She has indicated there could be possible spinoffs about other characters in the Cousins Beach universe.
