Tyler, the Creator to Release New Album ‘Don’t Tap the Glass’ on July 21
Tyler, the Creator has officially set the album rollout for his upcoming project, Don’t Tap the Glass. The project will be released on Monday, July 21, 2025, and is the artist's ninth studio album. Tyler announced the project over the weekend at his show at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, when he had a large sign with the album title brought before the capacity crowd.
That surprise moment featured a figure inside a glass case with “Dont Tap the Glass” spread across it. After his performance ended, the crowd was led to a website called DontTapTheGlass.com, where it linked to a new collection of merchandise on Tyler's Golf Wang store. On the website, fans were able to pre-order either a vinyl, CDs, or a deluxe limited box set that would ship on the release date of the album.
The rollout, followed Tyler's usual custom of dropping new material with no warning. So far, there has been no single or tracklist released before the full project drops. But the album is expected to be available on all major streaming services on Monday.

What to Expect from the Album and Tyler’s Tour
Don’t Tap the Glass follows closely on the heels of Tyler’s last studio album, Chromakopia, released less than a calendar year before Don’t Tap the Glass was announced. Tyler has not released any track titles, nor mentioned collaborating with any other artists on Don’t Tap the Glass, but fans who are familiar with Tyler’s previous work know that he typically has an interesting combination of production, creativity, and lyrics; and given the visual elements during the album announcement, there has been some indication that this record will also contain a big art world theme.
Don’t Tap the Glass will arrive while Tyler is finishing up the North American iteration of his Chromakopia tour; he will headline some major music festivals in the next few weeks, including Lollapalooza and Outside Lands. He will finish out the tour internationally visiting Australia and parts of Asia for the remainder of the summer.
It's still uncertain if Don’t Tap the Glass will be performed live throughout his current tour dates—but fans are hopeful for sneak peeks during upcoming shows, too. No information has been provided about possible guest features or music videos associated with the album.
For now, fans can stay prepped by pre-ordering physical copies on the Golf Wang website. Anyone who's followed Tyler for a while, knows that album drops can be special in so many different ways, including both visual aspects, packaging, and limited items—so we're sure there will be high demand.
Expect more updates in the upcoming days leading into Monday's drop, including a possible tracklist or music video release.
