More drama, dark magic, and jaw-dropping family secrets await as the story unfolds.
Part 1 of Season 2 was released on August 6, 2025, and Part 2 was released just yesterday on September 3, 2025 - keeping viewers' attention with a two-part release. Now that the full cast has been revealed, here is your ultimate guide to who's back, who new, and how every character contributes to Wednesday's sinister new adventure.
Meet Wednesday’s Mysterious Family
Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams
The clever, dark comedic teen is back at the center of the show. In Season 1, Wednesday's psychic visions helped her to solve a deadly murder mystery at Nevermore. Now she continues to navigate being a teenager, an educational institution employee, and her dark fate. Wednesday will be making even harder decisions now that her supernatural psychokinesis is becoming increasingly powerful and dangerous.
Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley Addams
Pugsley, Wednesday's younger brother, has a more significant role in Season 2. While he is still mischievous and will get into his fair share of trouble, he is already showing early indications that he has some electric-based powers of his own while being super loyal to his sister. The relationship between Wednesday and Pugsley adds some much needed comedy and familial depth to the Addams family narrative.
Victor Dorobantu as Thing
This faithful disembodied hand has remained Wednesday's closest companion. In season 1, Thing sacrificed everything to protect her, even getting stabbed in a shocking moment. This season gives Thing more assignments as it helps Wednesday by being the eyes and ears of her everywhere in Nevermore.
Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams
Gomez, the ever-enthusiastic and romantic dad, gets more screen time this season. In Season 1, we learned all about what crimes he has committed in his past, but Season 2 digs deeper into his commitment as a husband and father. Expect more Gomez classic one-liners, and his undying support of Wednesday.
Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams
Morticia, the stylish matriarch, balances her gothic elegance with fierce protective maternal instincts. In season 1, we saw her wrestle with her own demons as a former Nevermore student. In season 2 Morticia steps into a more supportive role, as she offers guidance to Wednesday, while still having secrets of her own.
Joanna Lumley as Grandmama Hester Frump
With the arrival of Grandmama in Season 2, the series is introduced to a witch that possesses great spells as well as a bizarre sense of humor. She provides the Addams' household with another ingredient, chaos and wisdom.
Joonas Suotamo as Lurch
The gigantic butler is back, loyal as always. Season 2 offers a little more insight into his secret past, introducing surprisingly more depth to the silent giant!
Fred Armisen as Uncle Fester
The zany, electricity-powered uncle only made a brief appearance in Season 1, but he was memorable. He sticks around a little longer in Season 2, actively helping Wednesday to solve riddles and shocking enemies - literally!
Meet the Students of Nevermore Academy
Emma Myers as Enid Sinclair
Wednesday's colorful werewolf roommate finally "wolfed out" at the end of Season 1, saving lives in the process. Season 2 will explore her confidence, her loyalty to her pack, and how her friendship with Wednesday continues to evolve even with their different personalities.
Hunter Doohan as Tyler Galpin
Tyler was revealed to be the Hyde monster in the shocking reveal of Season 1's finale, which had been orchestrated by Laurel Gates. Tyler's return in Season 2 will also see a darker, more conflicted version of the character who regularly faces his monstrous monstrosity.
Joy Sunday as Bianca Barclay
Bianca, the mighty siren, frequently wrestled with Wednesday but also demonstrated to be an ally. In Season 2, her history expands in scope, centering on her mother’s manipulative power over Bianca to wrestle with any independence.
Moosa Mostafa as Eugene Ottinger
The lovable beekeeper has shown courage in Season 2. Coming off the heels of his near-fatal injury in Season 1, that we saw Wednesday nursing back to health, he is developing a brave heart, and is developing a bond we didn’t think possible with Wednesday.
Georgie Farmer as Ajax Petropolus
Shy and socially awkward, Ajax the gorgon with a petrifying gaze, is learning how to use his powers while developing his relationship with Enid. Season 2 will put Ajax into situations that will not only test his courage but his loyalty as well.
Noah B. Taylor as Bruno
Bruno is the new character for Season 2 who adds some question to the mix with his strange powers and uncanny quietness while in Nevermore.
Evie Templeton as Agnes DeMille
Agnes DeMille is a young outcast at Nevermore Academy who initially appears as Wednesday's stalker and evolves into an ally. She is eccentric, fabulously insane, and has the power of invisibility. Agnes is obsessive about Wednesday and will do whatever it takes to get her admiration and love as a friend. In Season 2, she will be instrumental in assisting Wednesday with new mysteries at Nevermore, while also be manifesting her odd, spontaneous self.
Owen Painter as Slurp
Slurp is a zombie reanimated and brought to Nevermore accidentally by Pugsley. He provides comic relief as well as unexpected heroics in Season 2, and the consumption of brain matter in his presence demonstrates a surprising level of intelligence and loyalty. He pushes the limits of what students consider to be "alive," and while he won't win a personality contest, he serves, at times, as a companion during the height of dramatic tension.
The Teachers of Nevermore Academy
Steve Buscemi as Principal Dort
Dort assumes control of Nevermore upon Weems' death. At first, he comes across as strict but fair, however, Season 2 unveils his affiliations with a dark cult and his pyrokinetic powers, showing him to be a new dangerous opponent.
Billie Piper as Isadora Capri
.Capri is a sharp new professor with a hybrid Hyde-werewolf ancestry. She acts as a mentor to Enid and the students, but her mysterious background has them asking if she can be trusted.
Christopher Lloyd as Professor Orloff
The original Uncle Fester is back to play Professor Orloff. He is eccentric and bizarre, but he often weaves great clues about Nevermore's hidden history into his bizarre lessons.
Christina Ricci as Marilyn Thornhill / Laurel Gates
A crafty and dangerous individual at Nevermore, Marilyn Thornhill, whose true identity is Laurel Gates, is a major and manipulative villain in Season 1 where she wreaked havoc through Tyler and Nevermore Academy. In Season 2, she is in prison at the Willow Hill Psychiatric Facility for her past crimes, but she is still influencing the events that are transpiring at Nevermore and adding to a sense of unease.
Gwendoline Christie as Larissa Weems
Larissa Weems, who was the principal of Nevermore Academy, comes back in Season 2 as Wednesday's new spirit guide after her end in Season 1. Weems plays a dual role in the series: mentor and rival. She influences both students and staff of Nevermore while guiding Wednesday as she takes on new ghosts in the academy.
Special Guest Appearance
Lady Gaga as Professor Rosaline Rotwood
Gaga plays Rotwood, a ghostly teacher from the 1960s. She helps guide Wednesday in using some forbidden spells, which leads to an interesting body swap twist. She also introduces a haunting new song, called “The Dead Dance.”
Meet the Law Keepers of Jericho
Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo as Sheriff Ritchie Santiago
Sheriff Ritchie Santiago enters Season 2 as Jericho’s newly appointed lawman. Santiago is strong and hard-headed, but his biggest challenge yet will be to maintain law and order in a town branded with supernatural chaos by Nevermore Academy. When Donovan Galpin takes off, Sheriff Santiago has the task of managing the trust the community places in him and the fear that is starting to grow. His responsibility of being both the law and protector of his citizens could not be more critical.
Jamie McShane as Sheriff Donovan Galpin
Ex-sheriff Galpin starts Season 2 emotionally wounded. He has lost his badge, his town is against him, and his son Tyler is still imprisoned as the Hyde. Previously the man holding Jericho together, he now has trouble discerning his role in a town that's lost faith in him. Will Galpin find a way to redeem himself, or will he cement his descent into oblivion? Season 2 begins to answer this question.
Willow Hill Characters and Staff
Heather Matarazzo as Judi
Judi as the unseen driver of the LOIS program and the unknown hooded figure who always seems to be a step ahead of Wednesday. She's the one continuing on the secret studies of the outcasts and their special talents, continuing on her father Augustus Stonehearst's work. Being an Avian and controlling birds, she now uses this ability in season 2, to mess with Wednesday, and continue on with her own secret desire.
Thandiwe Newton as Dr. Rachael Fairburn
Dr. Rachael Fairburn is the head psychiatrist at Willow Hill and has a unique skill in supporting outcasts with unique abilities. While she is the warm and caring face of Willow Hill, Season 2 reveals that her role runs deeper, with relationships of her own that inform the secret experiments taking place behind the scenes, while balancing the care of the characters in the same arena as those calling the shots.
Frances O’Connor as Patient 1938
Patient 1938 has spent the last fifteen years hidden away in the secret basement of Willow Hill. Now freed, she has come back with an intense sense of duty: to be reunited with her family and rediscover from where she was separated, face her fears, and make things right! Their re-awakening reshuffles the deck at Willow Hill, leaving everyone on edge and anxious, including Wednesday.
A Season with More Family and Secrets
The second season starts to place further emphasis on the Addams family and their history. Morticia will be near enough to Wednesday to make her life even harder. Grandmama shows up with secrets about the Addams family powers, and there are some new rules that will come about with Principal Dort’s leadership.
We can expect more mysteries, more family drama, and more friendship this season, and while we've confirmed that part 2 will also feature special guest actress Lady Gaga and a mix of music and magic in the Nevermore universe, we intentionally chose not to record or make observations about the new season prior to the time of the episode drop.
Why this season feels larger
- More family with Morticia and Grandmama
- More focus on supernatural powers and Nevermore secrets
- Romantic and friendship tensions among the students
- A huge star cameo connecting music and magic
A Look to the Finale and Beyond
In the season finale, Wednesday drives off with Uncle Fester to find Enid, who is now a formidable alpha werewolf. With Tyler and Isadora now a reluctant team, Wednesday will confront shifting alliances, but she'll also unveil secrets that have been kept hidden, like Aunt Ophelia being locked away in Grandmama's house.
Season 3 has already been confirmed and the creators have said that the season finale can hint at what is to come next.
