The 2026 version of the Kia Seltos has finally arrived on the Indian scene — and it’s quite a makeover from the outgoing model. This isn’t just a mild facelift. The new Seltos comes with a fresh design language that makes it look more rugged, modern and premium. It’s longer, wider and rides taller, giving it a stronger presence on Indian roads. Inside and out, Kia seems to have revamped the SUV fully — so if you liked the old Seltos, this one aims to impress even more.
What’s new on the outside
On the exterior, the new Seltos is a head-turner. Up front there’s the latest “Digital Tiger Face” grille finished in high-gloss black (on premium trims), flanked by sharp LED DRLs and projector “Ice-Cube” headlamps that give it an aggressive look.
From the side, you’ll notice flush-fitting door handles (nicer aerodynamics + cleaner look), new 18-inch alloy wheels, thicker cladding over wheel arches, and a more sculpted body shape.
A cabin makeover — more modern, more comfy
Step inside the 2026 Seltos and you kind of feel like you’ve moved up a class. The dashboard gets a dual-screen setup: a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and another 12.3-inch infotainment screen — giving you a wide, seamless command centre.
Seats and comfort get a boost too. Top variants come with powered front seats (with memory), ventilated seats, dual-zone climate control, ambient lighting, and even a dual-pane panoramic sunroof. Rear seats have reclining and 60:40 split — handy for flexibility. Boot space is decent at 447 litres

Powertrain, driving and safety — familiar but refined
Mechanically, the Seltos continues with the familiar three-engine line-up:
-
1.5-litre naturally aspirated (petrol)
-
1.5-litre turbo-petrol
-
1.5-litre diesel
Gearbox options remain varied: from manual and CVT on the NA petrol to iMT / DCT on turbo petrol, and manual or torque-converter auto on diesel.
As for safety and tech — top trims get a Level-2 ADAS suite, 360° camera, tyre pressure monitoring, ABS+EBD, six airbags, and more.

Final Thoughts
If you loved the first-gen Kia Seltos, the 2026 version just gives you many more reasons to be excited. The fresh design, bigger size, modern interiors with dual screens and comfort-features, plus advanced safety and tech — it’s a big upgrade.
For Indian buyers who want a stylish yet practical SUV for city and highway driving, Seltos 2026 seems well-suited. However, if you prioritise fuel efficiency or low maintenance cost, you might want to wait for real-world reviews after delivery starts.
