What if, for just one day, every truck on the road suddenly stopped making noises? Ford unveils something at their latest European Show that could shift the trucking industry off its foundation. Don’t miss out—the Ford F-Line E is coming soon, and it could be in your delivery person’s hands as early as 2025!
Ford F-Line E Debut Kicks Off Europe's Green Truck Craze
Ford’s all-new electric heavy-duty trucks were introduced last week during the Solutrans Fair. Produced by Ford Otosan in Turkey, the F-Line debuted as a fully electric truck to meet the need of customers looking for an alternative to diesel-powered trucks but who still want the same performance capabilities as their previous models. The Vice President was excited to share that the F-Line will be available for purchase next year in various locations across Europe including Germany and France. The F-line will provide customers with the opportunity to drive a truck without producing harmful emissions which will contribute to cleaner air quality within cities for its operators as well as their surrounding communities.

Ford F-Line E Exterior Shows Off Mean Tough No-Smoke Vibes
The Ford F-Line E exterior maintains the traditional styling of a Ford truck, but is more streamlined by having no large grille—creating a smooth front to improve airflow through the vehicle. There are large tires with high ground clearance, plenty of LED lights around the whole vehicle. The chassis cab configuration allows for easy installation of custom bodies such as flatbeds and reefers. From attending a recent auto show, this vehicle will perform well in both mud and highway situations. The drivers that had an opportunity to drive the vehicle indicated that it has a modern look and feel while still being solidly built for European roadways that have stricter emissions regulations in place.
Ford F-Line E Interior Delivers Total Driver Chill Zone
The Ford F-Line E interior is a delightful experience. The cab is large and very comfortable with a spacious dash featuring a large touchscreen. The cabin environment is very quiet and lacks the sound of engine noise during long-haul trips allowing you to be well rested between trips. The steering wheel has paddles for regenerative braking and a wireless phone charging spot. The A/C system is very effective for hot weather conditions. Compared to the older, bumpy ride trucks, truck drivers who have had the opportunity to test out the prototypes have indicated that this truck has the feel of a smooth ride of a train versus a hard bump of their previous trucks. Family time after work is also much more enjoyable!

Ford F-Line E Battery Packs Pure Power Magic
The 6×2 version is equipped with an impressive four 98-kWh batteries for a total of 392 kWh and 314 kWh usable range to offer a 300 km range per one charge. It uses ). The two ZF motors are connected to a three-speed gearbox, providing a steady 415 hp with a peak capability of 523 hp (for loads up to 27 tons). Fast charging at 285 kW DC allows for charging from 20% to 80% (total capacity) in less than 45 minutes. In addition, the new Ford F-Series E Battery is built with high-capacity NMC cells, providing durability in colder temperatures, whereas the smaller four-wheeler has three battery packs (294 kWh) powering a 315-hp motor; both vehicles are equipped with an electronic Power Take Off that provides power to ancillary equipment such as refrigerators (80-100 kW). Imagine being able to transport lumber or other freight items without the need for fuel stops. This means drivers will save a lot of money, and their vehicles are much quieter. Thus, after just a few years, these trucks will save you money compared to traditional diesel trucks!

Ford F-Line E Price and When It Hits Roads
The Ford F-Line E pricing has not yet been announced by the manufacturer but should be very similar to the price of a diesel truck over time, as they should save substantially on fuel while operating. Production will start in 2026 in Western Europe, and we already have prototypes being tested now. It will be ideal for both short-haul and long-haul operations. When compared to the Tesla Semi, it will have far greater flexibility for European OEMs.
