The Tata Sierra EV marks the grand comeback of an Indian icon. Expected to launch soon, it will arrive alongside its ICE sibling but promises a more tech-forward experience. The Sierra EV will run on Tata’s Acti.ev platform, offering dual battery packs with an estimated range beyond 500 km.

Toyota is entering the Indian EV race with the Urban Cruiser BEV, built on the same Heartect-e platform as the e-Vitara. It’s expected to make its debut by early 2026, bringing Toyota’s reliability into the electric space.

The SUV will likely offer two battery options, support fast charging, and feature dual displays, OTA software updates, ADAS, and wireless phone charging.
