Television actress Ruchi Gujjar has turned heads—and headlines—this weekend after filing a ₹24–25 lakh fraud complaint (FIR) against producer Karan Singh Chauhan. In addition, she accused that the money was diverted to fund the project So Long Valley, starring Akanksha Puri, Tridha Choudhary, Vikram Kochar, etc. So Long Valley is to be released around July 27, 2025, when Ruchi kas asking for her money back, she alleges that Chauhan started to threaten her.

On July 26, Ruchi Gujjar staged a private protest to an audience of thousands at a Cinepolis theater in Mumbai during a special screening of So Long Valley. FIR Details & Investigation

The FIR was officially registered on July 24, 2025, at Oshiwara Police Station under BNS sections 318(4), 352, and 351(2). Officers from the Mumbai police have commenced an investigation of call records, other financial details, and banking history.

Ruchi alleges that she submitted comprehensive evidence, consisting of transaction records, marketing papers, and emails to move forward with the promised project.
