Sara Foster Shares Update on Relationship With Gigi and Bella Hadid

Sara Foster recently discussed her relationship with Gigi and Bella Hadid, years after the families separated. The actress and television personality was asked on Watch What Happens Live if she still talks to the Hadid sisters, and she said that she does.

“I love those girls,” said Foster. “I just saw Gigi last month.”

Foster's father, music producer David Foster, was married to Yolanda Hadid, the mother of Gigi, Bella and Anwar Hadid. They married in 2011 and divorced in 2017, while Sara Foster and her sister Erin were part of a blended family with the Hadid children.

Although the marriage between David and Yolanda ended several years ago, the emotional connection between the siblings has clearly remained strong. Foster said her father played an active role in the Hadid children’s lives, helping create a lasting family dynamic.

Her comments suggest that, despite no longer being related by marriage, she still sees Gigi and Bella as family. The recent mention of seeing Gigi in person reinforces that the bond hasn’t faded with time.

Although Sara was delighted to point out that figures for positive relations with Gigi and Bella, she noted that she is not exactly sure what the current status is for her father, David Foster, and Yolanda Hadid.

“ I don’t know, to be honest,” she said when asked about their relationship. Foster wouldn't explain further, but made it clear there would be no known tension or public infighting.

David Foster and Yolanda Hadid began a very high-profile marriage with both family relations and reality television cachet. Both David, a Grammy-winning producer, and Yolanda, a former model and present TV star, brought their children as part of a family, in their way. 

At least that time does indeed, seem somewhat endured for all involved. The marriage is gone, but the relationship as step-siblings, between the Foster and Hadid children, seems to have outlasted their parents.

Sara Foster and her sister Erin have talked in the past about growing up with celebrity and blended families as a unique lens through which to view life. Sara's more recent comments provided a rare glimpse into how one Hollywood family has managed to maintain the personal connection after the legal connection ended.

Similar to both families being very public figures, the relationship between Sara Foster and the Hadid sisters was built in more than just public places. While a reality show touched on their closeness and bond, they were all ultra-close off camera and these relationships were built outside of the cameras and episodes.
