Hello Readers,
Did you hear?
Israel and the US have attacked Iran!

On February 28, 2026, the United States and Israel unleashed coordinated airstrikes on Iran, codenamed Operations Epic Fury and Roaring Lion. Targets spanned critical nuclear sites like Natanz and Fordow, Tehran's military command hubs, missile factories, and IRGC installations nationwide. Stealth bombers such as B-2 Spirits, swarms of advanced drones, and precision-guided munitions executed the strikes with surgical accuracy. The operations aimed to neutralize Iran's nuclear ambitions and degrade its command structure in a swift, overwhelming assault. What happened there?
Ali Khamenei and other leaders were killed in the strikes!

US-Israel airstrikes ravaged Iranian infrastructure, demolishing nuclear sites at Natanz and Fordow, missile factories near Tehran, and IRGC bunkers. Power grids failed, air defenses crumbled, and Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's fortified compound lay in ruins. The strikes decapitated the regime, killing Khamenei and over 40 senior leaders, including Defense Minister Aziz Nasirzadeh, IRGC chief Mohammad Pakpour, advisor Ali Shamkhani, Saleh Asadi, Mohammad Shirazi, Hossein Jabal Amelian, and Reza Mozaffari-Nia. Khamenei's daughter, son-in-law, and grandson also perished. What did Iran do?
Iran retaliated by attacking multiple US bases in West Asia!

Following the US-Israel strikes, Iran mounted a fierce retaliation, unleashing dozens of Emad and Ghadr ballistic missiles alongside massive drone swarms at Israeli military installations and 14 US air bases spanning Bahrain, Qatar, UAE, Kuwait, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia. Tehran pledged "no leniency" against aggressors, decrying sovereignty breaches and civilian casualties, including 148 deaths at a girls' school. The operation featured precision hypersonic barrages overwhelming defenses, saturation strikes on command centers, and proxy militia diversions, with Iran signaling multi-wave assaults to degrade US regional assets amid surging escalation. What else?
Russia is helping Iran target US sites!?

Reports suggest Russia is actively supplying Iran with intelligence on US military assets in West Asia, including precise locations of warships, aircraft, and bases. This assistance reportedly compensates for Iran's weakened surveillance capabilities, enabling more accurate targeting of American infrastructure like radar systems. US officials describe Russia's role as indirect support via a strategic partnership, without committing troops. Amid these tensions, Putin spoke with Iranian President Pezeshkian, urging a cessation of hostilities to de-escalate the conflict and prevent further escalation. What else?
Trump wants a vote in choosing Iran’s next leader!

President Donald Trump has stated that the United States must play a key role in selecting Iran's next Supreme Leader following the death of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. In recent interviews with outlets like Reuters, Axios, and Politico, Trump rejected Khamenei's son Mojtaba as a successor, calling him a "lightweight" unfit to lead, and insisted on U.S. involvement to ensure a leader who promotes peace, harmony, and abandons nuclear ambitions. He drew parallels to his influence in Venezuela's leadership transition, amid ongoing U.S.-Israel strikes on Iran. Iranian officials firmly rejected any foreign interference, vowing to follow their constitutional process despite escalating tensions. What else?
Trump wants unconditional surrender from Iran!!

President Donald Trump demanded Iran's "unconditional surrender" as the sole precondition for any nuclear or peace deal, stating on Truth Social amid U.S.-Israel airstrikes that Tehran must dismantle its navy, missiles, nuclear program, and proxy militias before negotiations. He vowed to "MAKE IRAN GREAT AGAIN (MIGA!)" by rebuilding under compliant new leadership. Iran rejected the ultimatum, vowing defiance while launching drone barrages on Israeli and Gulf targets, and insisted talks could only resume if attacks halt immediately. The standoff marks a week of intensifying war, with no resolution in sight.
Speaking of war, did you know Data Analytics can be used for war!!?
That’s right. National Security advisors can use Data Analytics to make critical wartime decisions that can change the tide of the war. Some examples are:-
- Predict enemy movement (like the US did in the Iraq war)
- Triangulate terrorist hideouts (using social media and internet usage data)
- Identifying enemy weapon caches and strongholds (by analyzing satellite imagery and geographic data)
- For cyberwarfare (to carry out/defend against cyber attacks)
- To optimize logistics (to ensure supplies and equipment reach ASAP!)
- To identify possible threats (by analyzing data from communications and shady financial transactions)
Interestingly, war is not the only field where Data Analytics is growing. With technology being applied to every aspect of our lives, companies are gathering an unprecedented amount of data every day! A recent estimate suggested that around 402.74 million TB data is generated every day!!

With an ever-growing gold mine that can boost company performance, every company now seeks competent Data Analysts who can derive the right kind of insights and help with management decision-making. However, the supply is not enough to meet growing demand.
In fact, many companies are willing to pay a premium of 35-40% to bring in such individuals!!! Are you prepared to become the candidate that HRs fight over with seven-figure salaries?
