Hello Readers,
Did you hear?
Iran is continuing its assault in West Asia!
Iran has intensified missile and drone strikes on Gulf states—Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, and Kuwait—targeting energy hubs like Qatar's Ras Laffan LNG terminal, Saudi's SAMREF refinery, UAE's Habshan gas facilities, and Kuwait's Mina Abdullah refinery. The IRGC's "Promise of Truth 4" deployed advanced "Haj Qasem" missiles with 2,000+ km range and evasive warheads, bypassing Patriot/THAAD defenses. Attacks sparked fires, blackouts, and 400k bpd disruptions despite 70% interceptions; oil prices surged 15%. Gulf leaders decry the assaults as terror threatening global energy security, pledging retaliation. What else?
IMO has condemned Iran’s attacks!

The International Maritime Organization (IMO) issued a strong condemnation of Iran's strikes on merchant vessels and threats to close the Strait of Hormuz during an emergency council session. A resolution, spearheaded by the UAE and co-sponsored by 115 member states, declared these actions illegal, unjustifiable violations of international law that endanger seafarers' lives and the marine environment. The attacks have disrupted vital shipping routes, stranding crews and halting global trade flows. IMO urged Iran to cease all interference immediately, reaffirming the right to free navigation in this key chokepoint. What else?
Israel wants to open the Strait of Hormuz!

Israel is working with the United States and NATO partners to push for the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, arguing that restoring safe passage for global oil shipments is essential to countering Iran’s coercive leverage. Israeli leaders insist they are not formally seeking regime change, but instead aim to weaken the Iranian regime’s ability to blackmail the world and create political space for internal opposition. Reopening the Strait is framed as part of a broader strategy combining military, economic, and diplomatic pressure to restore Western and neutral‑state shipping access while amplifying discontent within Iran. What else?
Iran is considering a ‘Hormuz tax’!
Iranian lawmakers are advancing a "Hormuz tax" proposal to impose transit fees on ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz, a critical artery for one-fifth of global oil and gas trade. Tehran lawmaker Somayeh Rafiei revealed that parliament is drafting legislation requiring payments from benefiting nations, citing Iran's pivotal security role in protecting these vital energy, shipping, and food supply routes. Amid the ongoing US-Israel-Iran conflict, the plan risks disrupting maritime traffic, potentially spiking oil prices, inflating shipping costs, and intensifying global trade tensions. What else?
Israel believes the war could end very soon!

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared in a Jerusalem press conference that Israel's war with Iran could end "faster than people think." After nearly three weeks, he cited decisive Israeli advances, rapidly dismantling Iran's missile barrages, drone swarms, and nuclear infrastructure. Core objectives—neutralizing ballistic and nuclear threats—are nearly met, opening prospects for Iranian liberation. Netanyahu rejected media claims of stalemate as fake news, underscoring Israel's dominance and resolve for swift victory, sans fixed timeline, amid global watch. What else?
Trump and Netanyahu’s Iran objectives are not the same!!

President Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Iran strategies diverge sharply. Trump focuses on neutralizing Iran's ballistic missiles and naval power to quickly project U.S. strength, stopping short of full regime overthrow now that primary aims are met. Netanyahu insists on total regime elimination to uproot Iran's influence and lock in Israel's dominance, preferring a shattered adversary. Their clashing visions—Trump's tactical wins versus Netanyahu's existential purge—could drag out the war, undermining shared objectives and risking prolonged regional instability amid escalating tensions.
Speaking of war, did you know Data Analytics can be used for war!!?
That’s right. National Security advisors can use Data Analytics to make critical wartime decisions that can change the tide of the war. Some examples are:-
- Predict enemy movement (like the US did in the Iraq war)
- Triangulate terrorist hideouts (using social media and internet usage data)
- Identifying enemy weapon caches and strongholds (by analyzing satellite imagery and geographic data)
- For cyberwarfare (to carry out/defend against cyber attacks)
- To optimize logistics (to ensure supplies and equipment reach ASAP!)
- To identify possible threats (by analyzing data from communications and shady financial transactions)
Interestingly, war is not the only field where Data Analytics is growing. With technology being applied to every aspect of our lives, companies are gathering an unprecedented amount of data every day! A recent estimate suggested that around 402.74 million TB data is generated every day!!

With an ever-growing gold mine that can boost company performance, every company now seeks competent Data Analysts who can derive the right kind of insights and help with management decision-making. However, the supply is not enough to meet growing demand.
In fact, many companies are willing to pay a premium of 35-40% to bring in such individuals!!! Are you prepared to become the candidate that HRs fight over with seven-figure salaries?
