Odisha's Class 12 Students: The Big Day is Here!
The wait is finally over for Odisha's Class 12 students! Today, May 15th, is the day they'll discover their fates after months of hard work and the intense Odisha CHSE board exams. The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) is releasing the much-anticipated 2025 results, bringing an end to weeks of nervous anticipation.

A Rigorous Evaluation Process
This year's evaluation was more thorough than ever before. CHSE implemented a two-phase assessment process. The first phase ran from April 2nd to 14th, followed by a second phase concluding on April 28th. A massive team of 16,000 teachers across 148 centers (78 offline and 70 digital) worked diligently to evaluate the answer sheets. Each paper underwent a dual-checking system to ensure maximum accuracy. To maintain integrity, confidential monitoring squads were deployed to 35 locations across 30 districts during the exams.
Controller of Examinations Prasanta Kumar Parida had earlier promised results within 45 days of the exam's conclusion – a commitment the CHSE has met by releasing the results on May 15th, slightly earlier than last year's May 26th announcement.
Last Year's Performance and Expectations
Last year's results showed strong performance across all streams. Science led the pack with an 86.93% pass rate, followed by Commerce (82.27%), Arts (80.95%), and Vocational courses (68.02%). With approximately 3.8 lakh students awaiting their results this year, the anticipation is high.
