Hello Readers,

Did you know?

The Israel-Lebanon ceasefire has been extended by 3 weeks!

President Trump announced that Israel and Lebanon have agreed to extend their ceasefire by three weeks following White House talks involving the Israeli Ambassador and Lebanese envoy. Vice President JD Vance confirmed the U.S.-brokered extension of the truce between Israeli forces and Hezbollah. Israel's UN envoy Danny Danon stated the extension is "not guaranteed at 100%," citing ongoing risks. Under the terms, Israel retains rights for defensive strikes; recently, IDF forces killed two Hezbollah operatives attempting to cross the border and intercepted a Hezbollah drone targeting troops near the northern frontier. What else?

Israel denies attacking Iran during the ceasefire!

Iranian media reported air defenses roaring over Tehran, activating to engage hostile targets—the first such activation since the ceasefire took effect. Anti-aircraft systems fired amid unconfirmed alerts of incoming threats, sparking immediate concerns over potential truce violations and escalating regional instability. Israel swiftly denied any involvement, with IDF sources stating unequivocally, "Israel is not attacking Iran right now." Officials rejected all claims of strikes inside Iran during the agreement, emphasizing commitment to the fragile peace amid persistent tensions between the two nations. What else?

IRGC has threatened to cut undersea cables!

Iran's IRGC, through Tasnim News Agency, has escalated rhetoric by spotlighting vulnerabilities in undersea internet cables snaking through the Strait of Hormuz, strongly implying capacity for deliberate sabotage amid intensifying geopolitical strains. These critical arteries underpin connectivity for Gulf powerhouses—UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia—channeling colossal data streams for finance, communications, streaming, and global interlinks. Synchronized severing could precipitate crippling outages akin to Red Sea precedents, exacting months-long repairs and multimillion-dollar tolls. What else?

The US is ramping up military action!!

The U.S. has increased military pressure on Iran by deploying a third aircraft carrier to the Middle East and adding more naval strength near the Strait of Hormuz. President Trump ordered the Navy to “shoot and kill” Iranian small boats suspected of laying mines. U.S. forces also seized an Iranian-flagged cargo ship and another tanker linked to Iranian oil. Iran has responded by seizing vessels of its own, intensifying the standoff over a vital global shipping route and worsening the geopolitical landscape. What else?

Iran has denied internal turmoil, claims complete unity in the nation!

Iran firmly rejects U.S. President Donald Trump's claims of fractures in its leadership, where he asserted deep divisions among top officials amid escalating tensions. Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi declared that Iran's institutions operate with unity, purpose, and discipline, synchronizing military and diplomatic fronts. President Masoud Pezeshkian, Parliament Speaker Bagher Ghalibaf, and Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref echoed this, portraying Iran as "one soul" and a "single hand" against external threats. Tehran dismissed such narratives as propaganda, emphasizing wartime cohesion. What else?

No nukes, but time ticking for Iran: Trump

President Donald Trump has ruled out using nuclear weapons against Iran, arguing that such arms should never be employed and that conventional U.S. military power has already severely degraded Iranian capabilities. At the same time, he has warned that Iran is running out of time, signaling a narrow window for diplomacy or concessions before intensified pressure takes effect. His remarks blend a pledge of nuclear restraint with a stark ultimatum, underscoring that while Washington will not cross the nuclear threshold, the threat of further military action—and even a broader war—remains on the table if Tehran does not comply.

Speaking of war, did you know Data Analytics can be used for war!!?

That’s right. National Security advisors can use Data Analytics to make critical wartime decisions that can change the tide of the war. Some examples are:-

  • Predict enemy movement (like the US did in the Iraq war)
  • Triangulate terrorist hideouts (using social media and internet usage data)
  • Identifying enemy weapon caches and strongholds (by analyzing satellite imagery and geographic data)
  • For cyberwarfare (to carry out/defend against cyber attacks)
  • To optimize logistics (to ensure supplies and equipment reach ASAP!)
  • To identify possible threats (by analyzing data from communications and shady financial transactions)

Interestingly, war is not the only field where Data Analytics is growing. With technology being applied to every aspect of our lives, companies are gathering an unprecedented amount of data every day! A recent estimate suggested that around 402.74 million TB data is generated every day!!

With an ever-growing gold mine that can boost company performance, every company now seeks competent Data Analysts who can derive the right kind of insights and help with management decision-making. However, the supply is not enough to meet growing demand.

In fact, many companies are willing to pay a premium of 35-40% to bring in such individuals!!! Are you prepared to become the candidate that HRs fight over with seven-figure salaries?
