The Philadelphia Eagles ended their Monday Night Football game against the Los Angeles Chargers with an overtime loss. This loss now puts them at 8-5 on the season. While their Defense played a great game, their Offenses struggled to put Drives together; although they managed to get close enough to score and only lost by 3 points (22-19), Jalen Hurt's Interception in OT cost them the win.
Unfortunately for the Eagles, this loss continues a trend (of dissappointing Losses), where they have played well enough to stay in the Playoff Race, but need to work on their consistency on Offense.
Eagles vs Chargers: Game Recap
The Philadelphia defense had a strong performance in the full game by limiting the Chargers to only three points in the first quarter and making many big stops throughout this period of time. In the fourth quarter, Saquon Barkley had a 52-yard touchdown run, which briefly gave the Eagles the lead. Unfortunately for the Eagles, in overtime, the Chargers were able to score three points with a field goal, and Hurts' turnover sealed their loss.
Dallas Goedert made a nice 16-yard reception and run play; while AJ Brown made a nice 22-yard completion. Unfortunately, however, neither would amount to points for the Eagles as they could only record one touchdown in addition to one field goal over the course of regulation.

Eagles Playoff Picture: What’s Next?

The Titans are still in contention for a playoff spot. The Titans will be facing off against the Raiders at home, then traveling to Washington, and they have two games against tough competition (the Bills and Commanders). All of these games will be very important to help them clinch their playoff position and not have an offensive repeat of their struggles last year.
