The 2025 NFL season is officially underway with the release of the Baltimore Ravens' depth chart. There was anticipation to see where all the new signings, rookies, and veteran players fit in John Harbaugh's plan. The bottom line: the Ravens are mixing star players with talented rookies, and it's a good mix.

Quarterback: Lamar Jackson Still the Face of Baltimore

Quarterback: Lamar Jackson Still the Face of Baltimore

No surprises here. Lamar Jackson is the clear starter and leader of the offense. The MVP-level ability makes him an irreplaceable player in this role. Cooper Rush will assume everything Lamar can't, and brings experience and stability in case Lamar needs breaking.

Running Backs: Derrick Henry Provides Power

It was one of the flashier moves this offseason when the Ravens acquired the veteran running back Derrick Henry. He is one of the best power running backs in the league. The speed behind him will be provided by Justice Hill and Keaton Mitchell, while rookie Rasheen Ali is waiting for a chance.

Ravens’ Wide Receiver Room 2025

The Ravens’ wide receiver corps seems well-balanced and exciting this year. Zay Flowers has clearly emerged as the No. 1 receiver, with speed and sharp route-running keeping him as a constant threat. Following closely behind, a healthy Rashod Bateman returns to add his size and reliability as the No. 2.

In addition to youth, DeAndre Hopkins adds significant veteran presence and experience, also providing clutch plays when necessary. In addition to the starting three, Tylan Wallace and Devontez Walker provide reliable back up options, and rookie LaJohntay Wester already made a name for himself during the preseason with fearless punt returns—he was returned as the primary return specialist as well.

In short, this year's Ravens’ receiving corps has it all: young playmakers, veteran production, and hungry depth players.

Tight Ends: Andrews Is The Best, Likely Is Hurt

Mark Andrews is still one of the best TEs in football. Unfortunately, Isaiah Likely is out with a foot injury, which means a little more opportunity for Charlie Kolar, who will take on TE2 responsibilities.

Offensive Line: A Blend of Old & Young

There is a lot to digest from the Ravens O-line. Ronnie Stanley will be at LT. Andrew Vorhees is the undoubtably the starting LG, and Tyler Linderbaum returns at center. On the RT and RG sides of the line, rookie Roger Rosengarten joins Daniel Faalele.

Special Teams: A New Era After Justin Tucker

For the first time in an entire decade, the Ravens will not have Justin Tucker as their kicker. Rookie Tyler Loop will step in and assume the role of kicker after an incredible preseason. Loop's poise has impressed coaches and teammates.

Punter: Jordan Stout
Long Snapper: Nick Moore
Kick Returner: Justice Hill
Punt Returner: LaJohntay Wester

Rookies Making A Gip

Three rookies are already not only managers but big contributions:

Malaki Starks (FS) - always in the right spot in the backfield.

LaJohntay Wester (PR/WR) - fearless returner.

Tyler Loop (K) - hard to replace Tucker, but Loop is endearing himself.

These names step up in-game snaps. These young names show the Ravens trust in new energy.

Human Touch – Fans’ Emotions

There are a lot of mixed emotions among fans on social media. They are excited because the Ravens appear to have amassed lots of talent, but nervous that replacing legends like Tucker and relying on rookies is always a gamble. The leadership quality in Lamar Jackson and the veteran asset of Derrick Henry’s experience are giving fans some solace.
