Bruno Fernandes is now being seriously targeted by Saudi club Al-Hilal. They’ve apparently put in an offer of around £100 million, and honestly, that’s the sort of money that makes people stop and think — even if they’re totally loyal to their current club.
Now, here’s the part that’s even more crazy — if he says yes, he’d be making somewhere close to £65 million a year. Tax-free. That’s over £1 million every week. You don’t see those numbers often in football, and it’s hard to ignore, no matter who you are.
Bruno’s Camp Isn’t Rushing It Yet
Right now, it doesn’t sound like Bruno has given any clear signal. His agent, Miguel Pinho, is said to be in touch with Al-Hilal and having discussions, but Bruno himself? He’s still keeping it calm. In fact, he recently said something along the lines of, “I’ll stay as long as the club wants me.” Not exactly a no… but also not a yes.
He knows his worth, and at the same time, he’s shown he respects Manchester United and their fans. So it looks like he’s open — just not fully sold on leaving yet. Maybe he’s thinking about his legacy at Old Trafford, maybe he’s waiting to see where United goes under the new manager. Either way, it’s not a done deal.

Now here’s where it gets interesting. New manager Ruben Amorim has made it pretty clear — he doesn’t want to let Bruno go. He’s called him the leader of the team, someone who’s key to his vision moving forward. His contract still runs until 2027, with an option to extend it another year, so technically, United has control here.
But money changes things — especially this kind of money. It’s possible the club could think about it if they need funds to rebuild the squad. And with how unpredictable football has been lately, it wouldn’t be shocking if talks picked up speed in the next few weeks.
