Every tennis fan around the world is increasingly paying attention to WTA Live Rankings as it represents the present position of the stars of women's sports on a global platform. Overall rankings are not just about the numbers assigned; they tell the story of consistency, grit and guts competing spirit. In this article we will discuss what are the top players, how they rank, the rankings transfers, being Indian players, the top 10 tournaments and much more.

What Are WTA Live Rankings?

WTA (Women’s Tennis Association) has a established ranking system built on the players' performance in tournaments. Points are awarded to players based on their progress in tournaments. When a player wins a match in a tournament, she earns points. The greater the tournament event (for example, Grand Slams and WTA 1000), the more points awarded. Smaller events award fewer points.

Live Rankings constantly change every day because player points are updated as soon as a player wins or loses a match.
